Hamas Official Talal Nassar Blasts Muslims Who Offered Condolence to Israel Following Meron Stampede
Hamas official and political analyst Talal Nassar criticized Muslims who offered their condolences to Israel after a crush in the religious site of Meron, which caused dozens of casualties in late April. He made his remarks in an interview that aired on the Arabic language Channel 9 (Turkey) on April 30, 2021. Nassar said that such people are accomplices in the occupation of Palestinian lands, that they are despicable, and they have abandoned their religion, conscience, and humanity. He shared his hope that no Zionist will remain on the lands occupied in 1948, and that “they must leave in humiliation.” Nassar said that the Zionists must pay for their continued presence on Palestinian land, in “Haifa, Tiberias, Jerusalem, Lod, Ramle, Beersheba, Bayt Daras, and anywhere.” For more about Talal Nassar, see MEMRITV clips Nos. 8689, 6774 and 6778.
